Laurel often performs as a clown, and has taught and written extensively about clown as a revolutionary pedagogical tool.
She and her husband, Ewen Wright, have been performing together as a clown duo since 2007.
Laurel has taught clown workshops and seminars for Albuquerque Little Theatre, Blackout Theatre, Buran Theatre, Boulder Circus Center, Cardboard Playhouse, Explora Children’s Museum, Fractal Tribe, Harwood Community Arts Center, Idyllwild Arts Academy,
New Mexico PLAY Conservatory, and YBCA Young Artists at Work.
