EVERYDAY ARTS
Laurel is the Director of Youth Programming for Everyday Arts, a nonprofit organization that provides engaging professional development to educators and families of students with diverse learning needs, fostering social-emotional learning and academic proficiency through fun and inclusive arts integration. As a member of the Everyday Arts team, Laurel has designed and led programming for the Beacon Day School for students with autism and related disorders, the Loyola Marymount University Art Therapy program's Summer Arts Workshop at Dolores Mission Middle School, and the iLEAD Charter School Network all-staff retreat. Currently, she runs the iPERFORM (Putting Emotional Resources First - Our Resiliency Matters) performing arts program for pregnant and parenting teens at Empower Generations high school in Lancaster CA. |
