Performed at Sorority Lyric Hyperion Theater, Los Angeles CA, 2016 A performance piece about the irreconcilably hybrid identity of the feminist classic-rock lover. SORORITY is a performance salon centering the work of women, trans and queer performing artists working in Los Angeles. Founded by playwright Gina Young in 2016, SORORITY evokes the New York City performance scene of the 80s and 90s with script-in-hand readings, vulnerable solo work, experimental movement and music. Lonely Lonely Lonely Lonely Lonely Time is based off of elements of September the Show, as well as The Freddy Mercury Project, Laurel's 2009-2010 performance-based research investigation into the rock & roll ouevre of Queen:
